KJ: What are you currently teaching at Wesley College?
AH: MA 101 fundamentals of algebra
KJ: What rewards do you personally get from teaching?
AH: It’s rewarding to work with a supportive faculty. It’s also rewarding to see the look on students faces when I’ve helped them understand something they didn’t understand before.
KJ: Where did you attend college?
AH: I went to Wesley College.
KJ: What drew you to this field?
AH: Well, math has always been a passion of mine. I’ve tutored students on several levels, and I figured I’d give teaching a try. I’ve always been told I’d be a good teacher, and I wanted to provide a positive change in student’s outlook on math. Not many students like math too much.
KJ: Where are you from?
AH: I’m from North Brunswick, N.J.
KJ: What was your worst or most interesting job as a student?
AH: Working for Papa Johns. It was the worst because the management was terrible and the customers were always difficult. It was interesting because it helped improve my social skills.
KJ: What is your favorite movie?
AH: Star Wars.
KJ: What is your favorite book?
AH: The Great Gatsby.
KJ: Who is your favorite music artist?
AH: Queen.
KJ: What are your favorite pastimes and hobbies?
AH: I recently started acting in plays; I enjoy that very much. I also like to spend time with my friends, whenever I have the time of course.
KJ: What are you most passionate about?
AH: Trying to excel and be the best that I can be in whatever I set my mind to.
