There have been a lot of changes at Wesley College since last semester. One of the changes is the new POD Grab and Go product in the Wolverine Stop.

“We made this change in order to increase the variety we can offer the Wesley College Community,” said Steven Lewis, Food Service Director.

The POD Grab and Go product is a healthier food. The bread in many sandwiches is gluten free. The ingredients are listed on the label.

“A side benefit is that all items are clearly labeled to help people who have special dietary needs, such as gluten allergies or other food intolerances,” Lewis said.

Before the POD Grab and Go products were out, Aramark made their own food products.

“I liked the food from last semester better, I feel like there is no flavor in the food. Plus it is more money,” said a freshman.

“We now offer fresh sandwiches, wraps, paninis, salads, sides and snack cups,” Lewis said.

New additions include hard-boiled eggs, different flavors of pudding, and vegetables. The Wolverine Stop also has a wide variety of salads with more ingredients.

Aramark will be monitoring the POD Grab and Go sales to keep track on what students like.

“We want to make sure there are always fresh and new items for everyone to choose from in the Wolverine Stop,” Lewis said.
