Kappa’s Efforts On and Off Campus

The Members of Xi Mu chapter has taken part of numerous Community service events.

“We had a basketball charity game and the money we raised went towards St. Judes Children’s Hospital“, said Chea Sloh, President of the Xi Mu Chapter.

Helping the youth is a big part of their community service.

“Every Tuesday and Thursday we have a program called Guide Right,” said Sloth. “We go to local elementary schools and teach them about being positive, working together and wanting to achieve in life.”

Showing attention to students with special needs is one of their main priorities.

“Every Friday on campus we have a program called Nupes United,” Ruffin said. “We work with students here at Wesley who have special needs. We take time to teach them fundamentals of different sports.”

The fraternity said they play a huge role on Wesley College Campus.

“Being that we are the only African American fraternity on campus, we play a significant role,” Sloh said. “We are putting out positive programs that are attracting the students and more students have been expressing their interest in us.”
