Every year, the Greek organizations around campus collaborate for Wishfest, an outdoor charity event that supports the Make A Wish Foundation.
The event is also held the same day as Accepted Students Day,to showcase the different Greek organizations along with the student body, showing parents and prospective students ways they can be involved if they decide to come to Wesley.
“We’ve participated in Wishfest every year since I’ve been here,†said Fred Scottnick former president of Alpha Phi Delta.

Greeks who participated in the festivities include Alpha Phi Delta, Alpha Phi Omega, Alpha Kappa Alpha and Delta Phi Epsilon.
Terrance Wingate of Alpha Phi Omega said Wishfest is an important part of Greek life.
“Our organization is based on community service,†he said. “We are involved with the variety show and block party which we co-sponsor with the Black Student Union, as well as host our annual Relay for Life Cancer Walk, Super Bowl party, and table and sell items for various other causes.â€
