RAs Not Happy About Working Late on Weekends

“One of the things I do not like, personally, is having to sit in the front lobby for six hours on weekends,” said senior resident assistant Kira Tieman.

RAs think that since their job now requires them to be in the front lobby during their shift, it has become a complication while they are on duty.

“Sitting in the front lobby for the entire shift is a big inconvenience to me,” said junior resident assistant Dominic Maccarella.

Some students said they know RAs who are lenient with the students signing in and out their guests.

“Some RAs tell people they will sign their guest out for them if they’re not gone before they get off duty,” said Danielle Reid, a sophomore.
