Wally the Wolverine even has a voice when it comes to Wesley’s website.
The college has hired the Performa Company to conduct a marketing and branding study to help improve the school’s website.
“I think that the Web page is very old fashioned and very academic based,†said senior Rebecca Marion, an American studies major. “It needs to be updated so it branches out and catches the eye.â€
Twenty-seven students were invited to attend, including representatives from Greek Life, Residence Life and the Black Student Union.
“All of us that were there know where Wesley is supposed to go,†said senior Brandon Hoskins, a nursing major.
Wesley’s mascot was there, too.
“There was a great amount of student leaders on campus there,†Marion said. “Every aspect of Wesley was repreStudsented.â€
Students were asked why they choose Wesley, and if they would choose it again.
“I am not sure that it will create a new website,†Marion said. “I do think it will help create an image for Wesley.â€
