Improving the Malmberg weight room will be one of next year’s big projects, said newly-elected SGA president Tanner Polce.

“[The first task is] to assess how much funding will be allocated to the improvements,” Polce said.

A group of students also will be working with Polce to find out what items they want added.

The fitness improvements will be voted on during next year’s congress meetings, and Polce hopes to have all of the information ready for the first meeting.

SGA also voted to purchase a new change machine for the Underground, since the current one does not hold enough quarters and has to be changed three times a week.

The BCX 1000 bill and coin exchanger is one of the largest machines available and will hold 6,200 quarters, or $1,550, while the current machine only holds $500.

The price of the new change machine is $3,925, but will also need $1,550 to work.

The new mascot costume will be delivered to Wesley during the first week of June.

Following Wishfest, it was discovered that the dedication plaque by the amphitheatre entrance is missing.

The plaque will be very expensive to replace if it is not returned, said SGA advisor Beth Fisher, who encouraged students who might have information about the plaque to let the administration know.
