For the second year, the indoor soccer intramural league has received many compliments from players and referees.
“[It] has been amazing this year,†said junior Abdul Hameed, player and captain of team NoNonsense. “From the participation to the excitement, the games have been close and fun.â€
Some students feel that the league has improved over the year.
“[As] an employee of the intramural staff, and a player in the league, this season has improved,†said junior Nick Talirico. “All of the teams are competitive, which makes it really fun to play.â€
Talirico said all the teams have played well.
“It’s going to be an interesting year in regards to playoffs and their outcome,†he said.
All the teams have a shot at winning it, Hameed said. “The reigning champions, ‘Team Blackout,’ look as strong as ever. But I feel like a change in rings is due.â€
Eight of the nine teams will make the post-season.
The final round of the playoffs will begin Feb. 23.
