Freshman Elisa Firman’s favorite thing to wear in the winter is a scarf. She has five of them.
Recently, she decided to wear a pink Victoria’s Secret sweat suit and a scarf to be comfortable.
“I like how everyone has their own unique style at Wesley,†Firman said. “It inspires me to try something new.â€
“I’m wearing two sweaters today,†said Daniel Afoakwah, a sophomore who likes to layer his clothes.
During the winter, Afoakwah mostly wears sweaters and hoodies.
“All the students have different clothing preferences, some people even wear pajamas to school,†he said. “I would never do that since I live off campus. What if I got a flat tire in the morning?â€
Sometimes what students wear depends on how much it costs.
Raaon Menoken, a sophomore, likes to wear Wookrich coats and boots, but only if they’re affordable.
“Everybody has their own clothing style because they are from different places,†he said. “A lot of the time I see something I’ve never seen before.â€
Like Firman and Afoakwah, junior Evita Wade enjoys wearing scarves and sweaters in the winter months.
“Wesley students dress different from other schools that I have been to,†she said. “Many students wear pajamas, but I guess people can wear whatever they want.â€
Juniors Maura Druhan and Jennifer Lenhardt both dress to be comfortable for class.
“We like to wear North Face [fleece jackets] and Uggs,†Druhan said.
“I usually check the weather every morning when I get dressed for school,†she said. “Then I text her to see what the weather is like since she has class before me.â€
